With more than three years of experience working with children, Nayelis Cardenas is a child-focused mental health professional passionate about trauma-informed care. She strives to create a safe and supportive environment where children can process difficult experiences, strengthen their emotional resilience, and develop healthy coping and communication skills. Through her previous work in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), she gained valuable experience supporting children with disabilities, autism, developmental differences, and diverse learning needs while adapting care to each child’s unique abilities and goals.

Nayelis holds a Master’s degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts degree with classes in Child Development and Psychology. Her education and practical experience allow her to approach every child with empathy, patience, and sensitivity to their individual experiences. Fluent in English and Spanish, she is committed to partnering with children and families to promote healing, independence, personal growth, and meaningful emotional and behavioral progress.
