Abby earned a Bachelor’s degree in Developmental Psychology from the University of St. Francis and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Keiser University. She is also continuing her professional growth through post-graduate certifications in Play Therapy, Multicultural Counseling, and Human Development.

Abby has worked as a Registered Behavior Technician over the past five years, supporting children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, OCD, and other behavioral challenges. She has worked with families in home, school, and clinic settings, which has helped her understand how important it is to meet clients where they are and to collaborate closely with caregivers to support meaningful, lasting progress.

She is also a student member of the Institutional Review Board at Keiser University, where she helps review and monitor research studies to ensure they are conducted ethically. Through this role, she has been involved in research focused on mindfulness and coping skills, which has deepened her appreciation for evidence-based practices while also encouraging her to think creatively about new ways to support clients.

In her counseling work, Abby takes an integrative and eclectic approach and tailors her approach to fit each person’s unique needs, strengths, and goals. Her aim is to create a supportive, collaborative space where clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped with the tools they need to grow and thrive.
